Double full-height turnstile equipped with two rotors (one three-section and one single-section), enabling the simultaneous use of two passageways – one for pedestrian access and the other for the passage of a bicycle or luggage. The device is designed to assist in pedestrian access control at secured passageways.
Examples of use include ticket and access control points for passenger traffic at airports and seaports (e.g. passages for authorized personnel and guidance of passenger flows), railway stations (ticket and access control points), access control points in public buildings (e.g. government offices, border crossing points, and other institutions), ticket and fee control points at museums, theatres, cinemas, exhibitions, fairgrounds, show facilities, and paid toilets (e.g. swimming pools, stadiums, and other sports and leisure venues). The turnstile is also used in workplaces for access control and time attendance registration (e.g. in designated areas within factories and offices).
